finals.

the worst part of the school year, if you ask me.

the point of finals should be to "assess what you have learned" you know? like, you get the basic idea of british literature that's good i don't need to test you on all the specifics. well my teachers don't quite feel that way. when you have to read lines from a poem and match it with the title and author? is that not a little tough? i mean, for a normal test that would be fine but for finals you have got to  be kidding me.

ok rant over.

the best part about this is i'm done after tomorrow... so US History, here i come.

so this is my first journal entry. i really have no idea what the purpose of this is, but i guess it can't  hurt to write a journal/blog thing like this. i never have before, so bear with me.

so, seeing all of the people on this website makes me think that nobody is going to read this. if you do, great for you, but i'm not an exciting person so you might as well stop now. it'll save you some boredom.

i joined this website because i've noticed some of my favorite bands, mostly a rocket to the moon and the maine, post a lot of videos and personal stuff on here. so i wanted to be a part of it.

so you want to know why i want to be a part of it? because i love music. i dont just love listening to songs, part of my hobby is finding background information on bands. you really can't get the full effect of the song unless you know where it's coming from. recently, this hobby has grown ENORMOUSLY because i purchased tickets to a concert on the AP tour and to Bamboozle. i've been freaking out about actually meeting some of these people that i hear everyday. i've never been to a concert before, (which is pretty pathetic cause i am 16 years old, but whatever) and these concerts are hopefully going to be the first of many.

i'm really sorry that i'm writing this. i dont know why i would. but i guess this is my background information, and i'll add more journals talking about what is happening in my life. it isn't exciting, but i always have a lot to say.

if i did this wrong, or if this isn't what people typically do, don't be afraid to tell me. i'm open for any suggestions.
